My car hates the cold, so do I, but I, unlike my car, still run in the cold weather. That means, my friends, I am unable to make it to GRap this weekend. I hope you all have fun and don't freeze.
I *promise* I will come to visit you GRap Peeps VERY soon, and I will bring christmas presents and b-day presents. I am just waiting for a good warm-up so my little car will be more cooperative.
Miss you all and I hope everyone is staying warm!

Il Neige...
Ahh Michigan weather, you can't beat it. All that snow, and -20 weather.
Please someone save me with a magic bubble that will protect me from this nasty weather!
Mon frère and I are hanging out at a cafe, drinking coffee, and surfing the net. Well, actually I am drinking tea and he is drinking a gigantic mocha. I am *trying* to reduce my coffee intake. But only my afternoon coffee intake, I still have a cup in the morning to wake me up!
I am really excited for the upcoming birthday celebration! I hope to see you several of you there. I know you can't make it Moi, but I wish you could! Toi, if you want I can swing by and pick you up on my way!

Small Town Wonders...
I am at the Adorable Colonial Coffee house and watching the crazy people of Concord push snow around. I am dead serious, the town/village has a guy in this big tractor pushing snow all around the street. First he put it into 2 seperate little piles, and now he is pushing it into one big pile in the center of the only intersection. I don't understand what the heck they are trying to do. It makes no sense.
Anyhow, I had a dream about Vladimir Putin. He and I were really good friends and we were blowing things up. It was kind of a cool dream, but makes no sense to me and probably not a good sign that I subconscienly want to blow things up with the Russian leader.

Monday, Monday...
Another Monday has arrived. I feel like we should create new days, wouldn't it be fun to occasionally have a 5 day week? Or a 10 day week? With fun names? Happy Londay! Or happy Aflerday?
Anyhow, my weekend was fun. I almost killed myself saturday driving in the snow storm to hang out with my friend Meg which was loads of fun. We read magazines and watched movies all night because it was way to snowy to drive anywhere, but suday was fun we went to this little place called "Kerrytown" in downtown Ann Arbor. They had this adorable store called Hollanders. It is an awesome paper store. I could stay in there for hours!

Let is Snow, Let it Snow, Let it… well not too much snow
I am still mad at blogger for what it did last time. That is why I wrote this blog a few hours ago and had it saved in a Word document. I wasn’t going to rewrite all that stuff again.
Anyhow, I have more baby news. Andrew (who married the summer after we graduated) is expecting his first (well I guess, his wife is expecting and he just waiting). Ryah, a girl I went to high school with and totally forgot about until she friended me on Facebook, has one kid and is engaged. I guess she lives in the Bay City area. How you go from C-town to Bay City I will never know! There is also Kirk (who I will admit to having a crush on in late elementary and early middle school) has one kid. Kirk was held back one year after his mom died, but I still considered him part of our class because he went to CCD and Sunday school with me so it was like he was in the same grade.
One day last week I met up with my friend Meg and somehow the discussion of a five year high school reunion came up. I hadn’t really given the whole reunion thing much thought until she mentioned it. Half my class will already be married, or have kids or both. I guess success for others I graduated with is measured by the number of kids you have. Unless I can get married and knocked-up before the reunion in the summer I am going to look like a loser!
Well, I guess that is it for now, I was going to re-write the post that blogger lost and add it to this post, but that would be way too long. I talk about the family drama some other time.
Oh, I almost forgot, I am thinking about coming up to G-Rap the weekend of the 16th, 17th and 18th. Toi, I think you need to go with me and take a mini break from all that studying! MMM, I am so excited for the ice skating, but I give you fair warning, I will fall flat on my face and you will have to reward me with hot cocoa!

Technology Whomps...
Ok, I just wrote a really longgggggggggg post about my family and somehow blogger lost it. It didn't even save a draft even though I pushed the "save as draft" button. I am really frustrated. It was such a good entry.
I can't believe it's totally gone.
Grrrrrrr....

Ringing in a New Year...
Things have been a little weird here lately. My brother's girlfriend has decided not to go to Lake Superior College/University even though she was just offered a free ride. In my opinion it's kind of stupid to give up a free ride, but they don't have an art program and that is what she wants to go into so I kind of understand. My brother enrolled in Eastern MI and then decided to withdrawl before classes started because they didn't have the classes he wanted so both of them are back at the community college for another semester. I knind of think both of them are being really dumb about their college careers, but who am I to tell them how to lead their lives? They have to figure these things out on their own. Anyhow, the weird part about all of this is that Kay, my brother's girlfriend's mother, cornered me at the library and started asking me what I had heard about her daughter's decision and how serious my brother and her daughter are. I stayed neutral telling her that I basically knew nothing. Which was true, I had only heard bits and pieces and I am not passing judgement on them because I have no right to do so. As you might have guessed by now, Kay started using what I said, or rather what I didn't say, and was telling her daughter that I said it was stupid. WHICH I DIDN'T!!!! I knew she was going to try and do it, but gosh, why? That is why I didn't say anything! I didn't want it used against me!
The last thing I need is for my brother and his girlfiend to be mad at me, but I think it's ok. I explained what happend and they seem ok.
Gosh I hate drama. This is why I have decided to become a very rich hermit and I will only talk to people who promise to not be dramatic.
Oh, I also have a confession. I still haven't let go of all the bad feelings I have towards my dad's family. I am trying, I really am. I want to like them, I really do, but they won't let me!
Off I go to be a hermit...
